Merry EuCharist MASS day

To all my studious and erudite friends of history and faith, Happy usurped Mithrasday. The Sun will stop standing still and proceed to make a longer day here, and shorter days to those who are south of the equator.

Glad that the ages proceed and the hope and faith of evolution from Aeon to Aeon continues, that we find the egg of existence ours the Phanes to make the evolved child ever our own featured future.

Grind the seeds and make good oils, an Eu charist, sanctify your efforts to build a better future and better selfs. Be the Eucharistos, show that word is what being Christian is. Each of us may be that perfection that fails but endeavors to reach new perfections, share it out the process, the will, the love for each other the world and the ways that you have learned and yet to learn.

The New age is ever here, in every day, embrace it anew. As an Eucharistos, be that savior we need, the world needs, even if it is one kind act a day. Standing up for what is right every day as one can. It is in us that we shall find not in some coming. We are the becoming.

Do what thou wilt shall be the Law, Love is the Law, Love under Will. Be it each and all. Be annointed.

Merry EucharistMass Day.

What is PEC goals, and philosophical point of view.

cropped-peclogo1.png

Let us look at various systems, of morality, ethics and virtues, and set the stage for what PEC is trying to achieve.

bagua-layout

baguachart

These are Eastern Concepts!     How does this apply to Western Paganism!

Who said PEC was exclusively  European Paganism?

virtuecontinuium Asatru Nine Noble Values

  1. Courage
  2. Truth
  3. Honour
  4. Fidelity
  5. Discipline
  6. Hospitality
  7. Self Reliance
  8. Industriousness
  9. Perseverance

These are “Heathen” values or virtues.

Then there is the Wiccan rede  that includes, a three fold law:

What ever you do it will be returned to you three fold.

And,

“Do what thou wilt, and that it harm none”

vesus Thelema

“Do what thou will is the whole of the law, love is the law, love under will.”

Morality is a personal code of conduct.  Ethics is a social code of Conduct.  Spirituality is a path of personal behavior to live not only in this world but also in the spirit.

Virtues  exist due to your behaviors in relationship to yourself and society.  Mostly it focus on one’s own identity and integrity.

The Wiccan Rede, and other magical or spiritual methodologies rely on what does this do to and for me?

Religion is a base of rules based on beliefs of Gods, and the laws that they have and how their spiritual realm reacts to ours in regards to these rules and how we adhere to them.   Great for those gods and maybe for those who abide by those rules.

For most people, it is about what does it do for me?

Secondly, what does this do for my family?

And very rarely, what does this do for the world and the community around me?

Can we exist as an island in this world?  Can a social animal like Homo Sapiens exist without a clan, and a tribe?

People Embracing Change’s value proposition is difficult to apprehend, if people are not in the mind to understand  the big picture issues and the complex evolving  issues that faces us as human beings.    Nor are people who are so focused on day to day problems with the immediate needs  of themselves and their immediate family, able to understand or willing to undertake the efforts to make their lives better, if  it involves working with the society and community they don’t trust.

I can’t write a big long educational monologue and expect people to buy into it.    I will for the sake of this writing  write it out as Business issue.

GOALS:

  • Create a model of a community, where it is beneficial to individuals, families and groups of various beliefs, practices and lifestyles.
  • Create a community where individuals must enrich their spiritual life.
  • Create a community where individuals can enrich themselves and their family.
  • Create a community where it is in the collective interests to help individuals and families to succeed.
  • Build a set of resources that enable the community to allow groups of individuals come together for common goals to benefits themselves and the community.
  • Develop and build Leaders that people trust, in each individual group,  and work together in a council to manage the community or tribe.
  • Generate leadership that can be trusted to represent the people in the regions, county, state and country.
  • Build a model of people and community that has integrity, where individuals are trusted for their expertise, and the integrity and skills of leadership built with in the community.
  • Make leaders who have worked with each community, of beliefs,  the workings of common resources, and have insight into people, their behaviors to do conflict resolution,  consensus building, and the continued development of a community, with shared ethics, compatible morals and common community goals.
  • Build long term standing tribes of clans and societies that meet the goals.
  • Create a pride of clan, society and tribe that is not hateful of others, or does not create a hatred in others.
  • To develop a sense of purpose  in the world as a people and as an individual.
  • To realize that we improve everything, by making ourselves worthy, and serving some part of the world to make it better, serves us all well if it makes  all of our lives better.
  • Create a humane means and method for education or correction of those who act criminally against the civic good, individuals and society.
  • Be prepared to defend the community in the event where social structures, laws and legal redress fail outside the community.

PROBLEMS:  ( What Problems are we trying to solve)

  • The lack of multigenerational leadership in families.
  • The lack of effective social  groups that are designed for community improvement.
  • The lack of trust in any leadership whatsoever.
  • The belief that we know everything we need and trust our own judgements.
  • The overwhelming lack of resources to support a family and any hope for its future.
  • The lack of support for a community of diversity.
  • The lack of a culture to support other families, or community.
  • The overwhelming use of propaganda that isolates people into families, builds distrust, while generating fear and hatred.
  • Extreme stress and chaos in society that encourages people to act on their most basic instincts, and to create short list  of fundamentalist mores, behaviors and expectations that limit their ability to not be used, manipulated, or extricate themselves out of a mental prison imposed by the current social powers.
  • The inability to accumulate personal, family and community wealth.
  • The inability to insure that there will be support of anyone in the family needs medical attention.
  • The consistent isolation of individuals, families and groups that incapacitates people’s ability to develop inter-relational skills.
  • The overwhelming issues that  give people  the inability to develop long term  meaningful relationships with each other.
  • Spirituality is being affected by the self absorbed desires from society.
  • Religions  as an instrument of imparting ethics and moraes, are  not supporting community.    They are supporting a sense of community with more of belief, behavior and entertainment versus of a real help to society.
  • Charities are not trustworthy but people instead of working charity and being engaged are  supporting third party groups, supporting charities that are not doing what they are supposed to do except making the organizers of charities wealthy from it.
  • Failure to evolve when circumstances require changes.

Additional issues in the United States:

  • The excessive costs and burdens of healthcare.
  • The lack of education or the ability to afford higher education.
  • The lack of good food and healthy nutrition.
  • The lack of a trustworthy  investment systems, be it, banks, stocks, insurance,  retirement plans, personal, corporate or government pensions.
  • The lack of personal control of lifestyle, love, reproductive health, or self expression.
  • The inability to compete legally against those with wealth and power.
  • The ability to sue for our dignity and personal rights.
  • The inability to be able to control the land that has been, granted, purchased or otherwise invested in, without arbitrary and capricious control of government and or big business.
  • People seem to have no idea of what community is.
  • People seem to have no idea what leadership or real leaders are.
  • Families are sufficiently dysfunctional without multigenerational wisdom of elders in a household.
  • The oldest of those living in the United States, are just as isolated in ageist groups,  a feeling of disconnectedness and lacking power or personal control of life. With absolutely no idea of how or in what way to be an example to other generations, except to enjoy their retirement, which is going away bit by bit.
  • The lack of personal power, people attempt to control all outcomes of all peoples lives in accordance to the mechanism and methodologies of their own life, with no regard to others, their circumstances or whether or not it is appropriate with no awareness whatsoever.
  • Propaganda for over 40 years so complete that any critical thinking for facts has been replaced by the strident strains of fabricated reality as a truth, thereby operating on belief.
  • People are addicted to a sense of social reality based and predicated by a false set of expectations where no one fits in it.  This causes low self esteem and is reflected in hatred of others, in the same situation if they are not acting in conformity.

How to fix the core problems at a tribal or community level.

  • People in the United States do not understand what a community is.   Build a community that provides a social model for the building of better people and community.
  • We need to have  a core group of elders and statesman that people can trust.
  • We need to provide a diversity of beliefs and functions, where leaders are made from small core groups.
  • Leaders of core groups need to be part of a counsel and be engaged with their community.
  • As part of a council they need to and must observe and be part  of other groups.  This helps them to identify with other people and other ways of doing things.   This helps develop trust and allows the people to vet the veracity of each council member as they grow in leadership.
  • Elders, develop leadership skills, conflict resolution skills, and other research by and for council members.
  • Elders ratify, deny or encourage  counsel decisions that are sane and workable and acceptable to the tribe as a whole.     Only if the council decides that the Elders vote to break a tie.
  • Elders develop leaders from the council members, and  for community leaders abroad.
  • Every person in the tribe must be part of a spiritual group for self development.  If folks are atheists they need to be in a group that works with ethical humanism.
  • Build into the culture   core societal precepts , values and attention to develop a sophisticated sense of self with a community.

For  the Major Holidays, each group, clan is supported to support it in their own beliefs.

For the Tribe, it must focus on what builds a community.   This is a very general idea for focuses on the tribal social rituals.

The Elders need to have a thorough grounding of all the spiritual traditions within the group, and a firm grounding in all the secular groups or societies within the tribe.

The core spiritual development of the Elders will be shamanic.   These Elders must be able to interact and spiritually work with each group as it is, but also to help the leaders keep the whole tribe evolving together.  And thereby developing a sense on the evolving nature of the tribe and to nurture it.

PEC elders have and will continue with core spiritual disciplines and concepts that should augment anyone’s core spiritual practices.

Developing a tribe, requires people on their own, to embrace the changes needed to survive and grow a community.   We can’t convince them of it.  People need to find that need in themselves.    When that need is recognized, action can be made to create a world we all want to live in.    That way we become the People Embracing Change.

How do I find my psychic or spiritual Gift?

This refrain,  from fledgling witches, pagans, sensitives and empaths, “How do I find my psychic or spiritual Gift”,  or “I’m doing this ritual or this thing and haven’t received any spiritual or psychic gifts or powers” irritates me to no end.

Isn’t  Magic supposed to be, well, Magic?    In a word no.

“Why can’t I have any gifts?”   You aren’t entitled to them.

Well what do I have to say, what are you saying?

The only gift you have is Life.

Let that sink in.

eeeLOGOgood2

Life, don’t take it for granted.   Every blessing we have,  or have had, we need to be thankful for.  We need to be aware of each moment of our life that got us here this far and be thankful for.   There is not one thing in your life are you allowed to be ungrateful for.      This includes the bad things in our lives.   Our lives are tested.    We are given good instructions.    We are given many bad things to learn from, to avoid, to see the negative impact they have, how to become vigilant, caring, and desirous of what is good and right.

Thankfulness and Gratitude,  without them, you are not likely to have respect, integrity, the temperament to work through to receive good things with delayed gratification,  the character and resolve to keep at doing what is right and correct, to be creative, resourceful to find a path, the means and the way to make life possible, better, not only for yourself but others.    We are social beings, and we can’t do this by ourselves.

Magic works only if you have had an honest relationship with yourself, your community and the world around you.    This is fundamental.    True there are types of formulary magic and spell work, to help you make gains here and there.    This isn’t real abilities or powers, it is the sheer manipulation of tools and symbols to extract something for yourself.    This is why the term “witch”  has negative connotations, besides millennia or so of bad propaganda and polemics.  The wise women, the expellers, the cunning men, were all known to help others.   And the selfish parasites that want more and manipulate and cheat magic only to destroy those who do help.    The good caring people, who produce end up being a target for the parasites of our society.  And when they can’t get what they want now, they make other people’s lives miserable.     They have taken for granted the resources and the people in their communities for all what could be given to them.  Instead of not getting what they wanted, they made it more difficult for all those others who needed those resources.

Psychic Gifts or spiritual ones, come with a price, which requires either work or conformity.    Let us take the spiritual gift of Salvation or Grace.    (Rarely do I see this actually work.)   One must be willing to change, to accept a spiritual force to change who and what you are.  You have to be willing to make the changes yourself and battle all those bad habits and everything else to align yourself to this gift made by a God.     A spiritual gift, grace or (called by the Hindus)  a shaktipat, is a gift of love and it has to be received with love, respect, a sense of personal  honor and integrity to take care of that gift.  Those who think that Grace is an eternal blank check should read Matthew 12:32 to know otherwise.   One must have the ability to take care of that gift.

Most spiritual or psychic gifts, are en-trained by initiation, into levels of work or grades in magical covens, lodge, groups or practices.  And you must do preparatory work to get there.  And those who work that magic to expose and imprint these skills into you don’t want to waste time and their personal energy if you are not ready.           In so doing, if there is a magical or spiritual egregore or built up spiritual domain, presence, heaven or common spiritual mind, temple or what have you, any parasitical behavior or poor behavior or lack of effort will diminish this sacred practice or venue.       This is the very thing that Native Americans get upset with when their traditions are miss used.   It diminishes them.     Their very last thing they have is being destroyed by selfish people taking for granted these responsibilities.  They are not gifts. They are responsibilities.

If you don’t have access to these  great traditions, resources, people or gifts of God, or the responsibilities that are asked of you are too onerous or you are not going to keep up with, in thought, word and deed, you have to do this on your own.

Some people think their family may have had special talents.  They are not gifts.  They may be inborn talents, temperaments, or may be indeed spiritual gifts  passed on to them. Again it depends on the receptacle, the sacred space in you  whether or not such a gift will flourish.       The culture, the folkways, the respect of the elders and a relationship with them are required for them to flourish.      Try to plant a cactus in the arctic or  an aspen on the equator.  It won’t thrive.       Many of these traditional gifts of spirit are not finding fertile ground.  We have all changed, our society has changed us, and many are not respectful of their traditions, their elders, the old ways,  and have taken them for granted.

So  if you don’t have that,  you have to work for them.    The Indian culture and all the Yogas  are about work.  Yoga means work.  Chi Gong, is about working with energy.   Practice, practice and more practice, and cultivate the right attitude, the respect, the understanding, the feeling, the thinking, the behavior  to develop the insight to perfect the practice more and more.   These abilities are called Siddhis in India.     The basics of meditations,  energy awareness and cultivation and having an honest relationship with yourself, the world around you and everyone and everything in it, is absolutely necessary to begin to understand the extremely hard work, dedication, discipline to achieve these abilities.   And at each step, taking nothing for granted, not one piece of information, feeling, understanding.    Respect it and ruminate on it,  refine it, compare all the anomalies, all the changes, the differences, building up a complex repertoire of experiences and methodologies of bringing them each to life.   And remodeling all the experiences in new creative and evocative ways, to step  through and practice the work with each and everything in the  world.    Feedback, honestly received to develop an ever better understanding to get there.        And Teachers for all of this,  looks to see if you have the temperament, the talent, the desire, the will, personal honor, integrity and the respect, along with a thankfulness to not take anything for granted, before they even are willing to teach you.    This last bit, if one were to create an energetic spiritual form and blessing to help you along the way, you had best be able to  be able to receive it and make honest use of this incredibly expensive, time consuming, crafted  by decades, centuries or millenias  gift.

Along with a gift there is usually a community, a guru, a master, a teacher, who have learned what it takes to receive, cherish and cultivate the gift, and how to pass it along.  The “Gift”, energy, grace, shaktipat  causes changes in people and those that share these gifts help people negotiate and manage these changes in the culture, help people to understand what they are experiencing and how.     And in time, how to create such a thing is lost, especially if any part of it is taken for granted over any period of time.

The Elders of PEC have learned it and earned it the hard way.  Their teachers made their students learn it the hard way or they have learned it on their own.   And our tribe requires each one to love one another honestly, become their own authentic person, to have integrity and to honor who they are, and respect those who deserve it.   The Tribe is family, a community, and a culture that encourages each other to thrive at all levels.    Most importantly, we try to not take each other for granted.    They are, along with my life, my children, my tribe is something I cherish.

If you learn and cultivate your spirituality from the basics on, you will have inborn temperament from your spirit vehicle, a cultivated gift passed from you to you, from life time to life time.     That  is worth working on.   What do you think?

Faith

What is my Faith I have been asked.     I honestly answered that it was none for a while.  I was then asked what my religion was, and I honestly answered I had none.       Then it went to what do you believe?

I believe in two things only, and work towards faith in another which is a result of the first two. I have belief in Life and Love. When there is no life there isn’t anything, and with no Love why bother.

My principles for living and immortality are wrapped up in the following sayings.      Mind, Body and Emotion, in balance creates Spirit.  Life, Love and Truth, in harmony creates Integrity.    If these are healthy, and superimposed on each other,  Integrity and Spirit creates soul.    Life, Love and Truth in Harmony, put simply, is to live absolutely honestly, with absolutely everything, including yourself, your world and if not the universe.  If you have an honest relationship with the universe it will have an honest relationship with you.

Faith on the other hand, I work to have faith in people to be positive, evolving, intelligent and sometimes to do the right thing, as a whole. Some years I have my doubts.

Fear versus Faith. While most people’s faith is in a thing or dogma, it is my personal assurance of a life long practice. Life, Love and Truth in Harmony, with mind, body and emotion in balance, generating integrity and spirit respectively. Together this cultivates soul. Love, that principle tying it all together. Love as in an honest relationship with everything. Fear, moroseness, worry, hate/madness, and giddiness to me are all negative emotions, that erode energy from people. Respect, sadness, pensiveness, anger, and joy, give energy purpose, reflection, taking stock of what is, movement and focus. This innervates the mind and the body, and cultivates coherent spirit. What matters is if it is in balance with the mind and the body.   And if there is a lot of chaos, at least be in a dynamic equilibrium.

I normally don’t say I believe or have faith in anything, I either know or am working to know. My distinction is that faith is not something to have, but is a practice. The world and even its circumstances may go away. The art of being and being in a relationship with the universe, is not something to take for granted and to act like it is just is. It is like any relationship it has to be worked, and in the practice the proof is in the interaction and its mutual development. It isn’t the seed or the flower, it is the act of planting the seed perpetually. And for that it is about living fully, and fully engaged.

There are other metaphors that are equally apt.   It isn’t the destination it is the journey.    I say things like   it is not the artifact of things in a time or a place.  It is the process of being that is more important.   Take a chair, or any chair or thousands of them.  In time, they decay, break and fail to be chairs and cease to exist as a chair.  The art of making a chair, the building of a chair, the teaching of the building of the chair, perpetuates what the essence of what a chair is, for eternity.  So that in its fullness, a chair is.

Balance and Harmony,  spirit and integrity, is a discipline and a practice, that survives and contributes to a soul to build a vehicle for eternity.       This isn’t a faith, nor a belief, it is about being and not being an artifact.

If what people can understand is just this, the rest would be easy.     Getting you there and having a faith that people want to be immortal, evolve and be more than what they did yesterday,  bought today, or plan to control tomorrow, is a faith.     This is backed up and held sacred each time a person helps someone, becomes a better person, loves people,  places, the essence of things honestly, and does the right thing no matter what evil, chaos and destruction surrounds them. I will celebrate and hold sacred each of these things.  This confirms my faith in people and this planet.   This explains why I teach.  This explains why I am working on building a model community.   This helps me to Love.  This will help me believe in you.  This is how I want the Universe to remember and hold sacred in me.

Why People Embracing Change

Why PEC?

Society has fragmented into isolated groups that ignore a wealth of diversity in ages and experience. People trust only their peer groups. Isolation and convenient excuses to see things from a narrow perspective are perpetuated. This is unsophisticated and unhealthy.

Religion and society have lost focus as these institutions expect things to stay the same and fail to adjust to reality. It is easier to create convenient rationalizations to avoid truth. People look to their leaders for direction, who in turn, merely fall back on their tradition. Choices, behaviors and ways of doing things rarely change as a result. Stagnation continues creating what looks like change, however there is nothing but chaos holding on to outmoded behaviors, philosophies and ideologies.

People Effecting Change

We refuse to accept the status quo. Our mission is to restart the process of transformation. We recognize and embrace that change within society is desirable and mandatory for growth as individuals and as a community. We achieve these goals through a variety of avenues.

Prepare an Emergent Culture.

We choose to live consciously. This is normal for any esoteric training. Esoteric (the hidden) must be exoteric (open and transparent). It is learning to be a conscious, true or authentic individual. Those terms are used amongst many spiritual and esoteric communities around the world.

Pursue Excellence in Character.

Spirituality is a part of our everyday life. We refuse to live in isolation. We share how we think, why we think, and how to be aware of our choices in interactions with others. This promotes a social culture of thinking. We choose to act in a way to be a positive example to each other and society.

A Pan Ecumenical Church

We are Ecumenical. Every belief system and esoteric tradition has valuable thoughts, ideas and philosophies that help people live every day, spiritually, ethically and secularly. This is similar to a church, which is a community that embraces spiritual, secular and everyday cultural values which help the community, the family and the individual. The current core set of Elders combined have over 100 years of study and experience in various spiritual traditions. Currently, there are experienced individuals in Wicca, Druidism, East African, Shamanism, Christian, Jewish, Native American beliefs, thaumaturgy, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and other comparative practices and religions from around the world.

We share what we know with each other. We value each other’s perceptions. We take time to understand where the other person is coming from. We enjoy people being themselves and who are being good thinking caring people.

Pan Esoteric Clergy

Our Sabbats, or traditional Pagan seasonal holidays, are spiritual; however, they are designed to include secular individuals. So far, Elders who have been inspired have organized the rituals. We have asked each other for spiritual help, pastoral counseling, and sanity checks.

Protect Everyone’s Children

We all are the Creator’s Children. We encourage our children to enjoy being children, and we support them growing up. When they are adults we treat them like adults, but they are still family. They are to be protected.

People Evolving Consciousness.

As adults, we do not live to grow old. We live to experience and be alive. We give each other the freedom to grow, change and live. We let each other relax and be themselves. This is all about being responsible to the people we care about and the family that supports us. It is important we make each other feel safe. We support each other to grow, to find ourselves, and importantly be our own authentic and true persons.

Purposeful Evolution of Community.

All of the Elders are available for teaching, as they are able and we all learn from one another. We all are responsible to learn from each other. We are responsible for learning the truth of things. Understand the context and the limits of information, learn and verify. We expect each of us to grow in personal power and grow their personal responsibility.

Mind, Body and Emotion in balance generate Spirit. Truth, Life, Love, in Harmony generate Integrity. Spirit and Integrity create Soul.

This is to say, Live absolutely honestly with absolutely everything, with your self, others, the world, nature and the universe. Then in return, the Universe, the world, nature and others will hold you honestly. This type of working integrity is the root of immortality.

Freedom and Obligation in Balance

Who and what we are defies common handles. We understand, are part of and support the ethical living of alternate lifestyles. We believe in the ability to choose responsibly how we want to live. Likewise, we respect those who choose to be responsible. We are a clan and chosen family who embrace change at all levels.

PEC is positively evolving and changing.

People Embracing Change

People Embracing Change

People Embracing Change. Exactly, we are looking for home. Home is where there is a family to count on, a community that accepts us, and a place where we can live to our fullest extent.

Home is a community where your neighbors, shop keepers, professionals and all the people who can make a town work know each other and will work with each other.

Home is where in groups we associate with those who know us, appreciate us and sustain us.

A Tribe is where all these aspects exist, and everyone is committed to making it work. Communities and Tribes used to work like this and they can again. Never before in our industrial societies have we needed it more.
